WELLINGTON'S GO GREEN EXPO
What a fabulous show down at the TSB Arena over the weekend.(12th 13th October) It was a lovely relaxed atmosphere, with so many like minded people that have come out of the woodwork.
Verdant worked along side Prometheus Finance, BBE Architecture and Gardens By Design to create a 'whole eco home solution' should you wish to create and build or renovated an eco home.

It was lovely to work alongside all of these business' where we all have similar ideas about what it really means to live a sustainable and ecological life. As I have said before, to me a 'sustainable' material must be able to regenerated within your lifetime. Anything made from crude oil such as almost all synthetics and plastics, is not sustainable.
We need to be putting things in our homes that are both healthy for us and healthy for the environment.
Organic Textiles are one way to do that. We had a large range of the Vida Textiles collection at the Expo. Vida Textiles is the sister company of Verdant Design, and features a range of GOTS certified organic fabrics. Check out the website. The fabrics, cushions, bedding and more recently towel collection are all available online.
